Welcome to the Judson & Brown Library--the Library is a place where everyone belongs!

Here at J&B, students visit the library once a week. We have a large collection of books to read, ranging from picture books and easy readers to chapter books and non-fiction. And more recently, we have been adding to our beloved graphic novel section. Please check out our Wish List if you’d like to purchase a book for our library!

My goal in the Library is to foster a love of reading: there is no grade, and there is no pressure. Each class has many different reading levels and interests, and it is my job to help kids love stories and information! I help kids find books that appeal to them while also teaching them about library etiquette, different genres and categories of literature, awards given to the best books each year, and more.

The Library is no longer the quiet place of the past. It is vibrant and full of giggles over “The Book With No Pictures” and Elephant and Piggy books and gasps over beautiful illustrations by Kadir Nelson. Ask your student what they’re reading—and stop by and check out our collection and tell me what you’re reading!
